1. Educational Qualifications for Junior Clerks (Direct Recruits): 10+2 with 50% marks or Graduate or above of a recognised University.
Provided that the candidate should have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. This condition shall, however, not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.
Jr. Clerk*
(PACS Quota i.e. quota reserved for Trained Secretaries of PACS)
(i) 10+2 with50% marks or Graduate or above of a recognized University.
Provided that the candidate should have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. This condition shall, however, not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.
(ii) A minimumof continuous 5 years serviceas Secretary as defined in Rule 2(vii) of the H.P. Cooperative Societies Rules, 1971 of Primary Agriculture Credit Society. For a candidate possessing Graduate Degree, required experience shall be three years instead of five years.
(iii) Shouldbe below 45 years of age as on 01.01.2021.
(iv) Allemployees of PACSwho are coveredunder the definition
of “trained Secretaries” are eligible for the posts.
(v) Candidate shouldnot be directly or indirectly a defaulter of his/her society.
Junior Clerk*
(Under OCS Quota i.e. quota reserved for employees of Other Cooperative Societies and employees of PACS who are not covered underthe definition of “Trained Secretaries”
(i) 10+2 with 50% marks or Graduate or above of a recognised University.
Provided that the candidate should have passed Matriculationand 10+2 from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. This condition shall, however, not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.
(ii) A minimum of continuous 7 years service in a cooperative society. For a candidate possessing Graduate Degree, required experience shall be five years instead of seven years.
(iii) Should be below 45 years of age as on 01.01.2021.
(iv) All employees of other cooperative societies and employeesof PACS who are not covered under the definition of “trained Secretaries” are eligible for the posts.
Candidate should not be directly or indirectly a defaulter ofhis/her society.
Steno*/Steno typist*(Direct Recruitment)
(i) 10+2 with50% marks or equivalent of a recognised University/Board or a Graduate or above.
Provided thatthe candidate shouldhave passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. This condition shall, however, not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.
(ii) Also pass in shorthand with a speed of 80 words per minute in English and 70 words per minute in Hindi in the skill test to be conducted by the Bank.
(iii) Also pass in type writingexamination with a speed of 40 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi typewriting in the skill test to be conducted by the Bank.
